Wang Lu (b.1989, China), based in Beijing, paints on a miniature scale to capture fragments of memory and daily life. Rooted in his upbringing within a factory family, his works reflect a moment in China’s industrial past, when the country was full of hope and transformation. Each painting is crafted with extraordinary care, revealing quiet scenes that reward close attention.
